In confidence

Privacy, quietly kept.

I

An introduction

Sensorium — an immersive wellness studio in North Vancouver — offers a short, quiet baseline that helps us recommend a class suited to you. This note describes what we receive from you, how we hold it, and the care we take with it. By continuing, you accept these quiet terms.

II

What you offer

The baseline asks for only what is needed:

  • Your first name
  • An email address we may write back to
  • Your answers to the five quiet questions
  • Any feedback you choose to share on the reflections
  • Optional booking details when you reserve a class

Your browser may also quietly relay standard technical details (type, operating system, pages visited, an anonymised IP). We use these only to keep the experience steady.

III

How we use what you share

  • To compose your reflection — your words are read by a private AI to shape a short, personal recommendation. This is the heart of the baseline.
  • To refine the practice — aggregate, anonymised patterns help us keep the classes relevant and true.
  • To write back, if invited — if you ask to book a class or continue the conversation, we may write back at the address you provided.
IV

Where your words live

Your responses are held in your browser's local storage for the duration of the baseline. If you reserve a class, your booking note is relayed securely to our team. We apply:

  • TLS encryption for every exchange
  • Access controls on every administrative surface
  • Routine review of our security posture
  • Content Security Policy headers against injection

No system is ever completely sealed. We do what a careful host would — and tell you plainly where the limits lie.

V

The AI that helps compose the reflection

  • Your answers are passed to a trusted AI partner (OpenRouter) for processing only — never for training.
  • Your reflections are stored alongside your responses.
  • The reflections are personal — they are not medical, psychological, or professional advice.
VI

What we do not do

We do not sell, trade, or rent your information. We share it only when absolutely required:

  • With service partners (OpenRouter, Vercel) who are bound by their own privacy commitments.
  • Where the law requires it — and only to the extent required.
  • In the rare case that Sensorium, as a business, changes hands — your data would pass under these same terms.
VII

Cookies

The baseline uses local storage to hold your place between questions. We use Vercel Analytics for a light read of site usage. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party profiling.

VIII

Your rights

Depending on where you sit in the world, you may:

  • Request a copy of what we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct it
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Receive it in a portable format
  • Object to a given use

To exercise any of these, write to us at the address below.

IX

How long we keep things

We keep your answers only as long as they serve the purpose they were given for — or as long as the law requires, whichever is shorter. You may ask us to remove them at any time.

X

Young guests

Sensorium welcomes adult guests. The baseline is not intended for anyone under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors without a guardian present.

XI

Across borders

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Data laws differ. By continuing, you accept that your words may travel to where our systems quietly live.

XII

Changes to this note

If we amend this note, we will update the “last tended” date above. Continued use of the ritual after a change is taken as acceptance of the revised note.
